Humans & Technology

Assignment 3

Humans and technology, at first, I really struggled with this concept. I just kept drawing blanks of what exactly I wanted to do. I couldn’t for the life of me picture anything, nothing I felt really “popped” to me.

It wasn’t until I started really looking around, at home, at stores, out for dinner. Technology is literally everywhere; it has become a human lifeline. Once actually really looking around and seeing, it’s becoming more and more apparent, that we are becoming prisoners to technology. Technology is becoming something more and more we can not escape.

There isn’t much in this world you can’t do right in the palm for your hands. Smartphones alone, it doesn’t anything you can think of. I know you can start your car from your phone, your phone can literally be your debit or credit card with just a tap of it.

We've become slaves to technology, dependent.

I don't want to say technology is all bad. There are so many pros. However, I sometimes it's becoming too much, an addiction that can even target children at young ages. Babysitter replacements, don't want to interact with people, get out your phone. Your charge is a new accessory, don't go too far without one, in fear your technology will die.

Will technology soon replace human existence at all? Will we all just become a blur?
