Welcome, I will keep this first blog short and sweet. I am Ashtyn, the owner and operator behind A Little Red Photography.

Adventures Awaits!

Let's get ready to begin! The adventure awaits and the experiences are to be anticipated! I am just so excited to begin this journey with all of you, I fully am prepared to take this leap, I've sat at home many days and nights hemming and hawing over breaking out photography. With the construction of our new home, it was a finally a sign, our home will have two unused spaces, so, why not transform one into my very own studio space. With a small discuss and some Pinterest searching, now seem like the perfect time to undertake this engagement.

Being located in Muskoka leaves for beautiful outdoor sessions, which I do love too, but, there was times where I've been in search of a photographer for studio sessions and I've been stuck traveling distances. So, my hopes is to give clients the option for studio sessions too!

I've always had an interest in the art photography and with my daughters' birth (like most parents) I wanted to capture every moment. That's when I got my first Nikon Camera (9 years ago), and absolutely fell in love with it! While nearly everyone has a camera for snapshots, clients want quality photos to capture their special moments and memories. As technology advanced and cellphone cameras improved, my poor Nikon camera took a backseat. In the last year, I dusted off my camera and began shooting once again.
