Welcome to the Beauty in Rain.

Rain, rain, go away, come again another day.

Don't you ever notice on rainy days you feel even more sluggish. The day is just meant for laying in bed and watching movies or binge watching your favourite show or dive into a book you've been putting off.

“Rainy days should be spent at home with a cup of tea and good book.” - Beth Revis

Rainy days just drag out the worst in me. I love the rain, I love the sound of it, laying in bed listening to the rain is my calm. Even the look of rainy days just inspires so much beauty to me. However, the feel, the feel of rainy days ESPECIALLY, cold rainy days, make me feel so "blah". They give me no motivation, not scene of anything. I just don't want to do anything.

My dog really vibes on this theory too. He sleeps a lot for being a dog. But, rainy days, I can always find him snoozing in front of the sliding door. This, this gives me inspiration, he gives me something to shot, even if its just his lazy paws (the cutest lazy paws). It still gave me a reason to get out my camera and create something and capture a moment.

I know a lot of photographers aren't really big into shooting during rain, due to damage it may cause to their equipment. Which is fair, and 100% understandable, they are not cheap to repair or replace.

I, myself love moments in the rain. The puddle jumping, the free spirits that find themselves dancing. It really is a thing of beauty to witness. And the laughter and love that can be absorbed, it's an "ahhh" moment you can't get anywhere else.

So, in spite of wanting to be at home in bed curled up. I find myself grabbing my camera, a jacket and my rubber boots and stomping out into the rain. No moment should be lost on a little water falling from the sky.

Some people feel the rain. Others just get wet.” - Bob Marley
